Nikoloudis farm
The history of our family farm begins the year 1970, when Georgios Nikoloudis and his wife Evangelia decided to build the first farm facilities north of Messara plain, just south of Galia village.
In this place they started to deal professionally with the breeding and fattening of cows, while a few years later they expanded the facilities and created in the adjacent area farms for breeding porks and chicken, at the same time they opened their own butcher shop to ensure the immediate selling of their products.
Brothers Pavlos and Giannis Nikoloudis, who took over the baton of this business, developed and expanded this family farm as well as the departments for processing, selling their own products.
They are now focused on raising the family farm in the finest breeds of animals, such as the excellent black and red aberdeen angus breed that were first brought to our island.
Through modern but highly natural breeding methods using natural biological disinfectants such as attapulgite, zeolite and active microorganisms (EM) and based mainly on Cretan earth foods such as cereals, oilseeds, zucchini and plenty of the same grass, aim at the production of meat of exceptional nutritional and gastronomic value grafted with the taste of the Cretan land and the care of its family traditions.
